True summer has arrived. At the studio the agapanthus has bloomed, the iced coffees are flowing and wedding gift orders are flooding in!The Story That Moved Me This Month...
...Featured a lady who I met at Badminton. She asked if we could engrave four initials on a necklace for her. I said of course, let's make it together. We chose the font, the design and layout. Once it was finished, she looked at it burst into tears. The initials represented her young children. Only, two of them had passed away. I cried. The sorrow for her coupled with the emotional whack of realising the relevance of the jewellery I make hit me like a tonne of bricks. I don't see the emotion when I sell online. I was not used to this.
Later that day, I made a bangle for her with her precious passed children's names, hunted her down and slipped it into her hands for her to open when she got home. I think about her every day.

The same design, but with a beautiful enamel edge. Choose from cream, burgundy or latte enamel in a gold or silver finish. Free engraving on the inside will be course be a part of the design. 2. FATHER'S DAY 15th JUNE
We're in full dad loving mode over here. The handwriting service in particular is popular. Our hearts are melting seeing children's handwriting and doodles engraved. If you'd like to gift a handwriting piece, all you need to do is snap a photo of any writing from a card or scrap paper & send it in. We'll do all the cropping and editing to make sure it looks beautiful!
3. FLORENCE LONDON X IBIZA
Come along with me as I travel to Ibiza in this month on a creative inspiration trip, plus a little stockist research. One of the elements that has driven the creativity of Florence London so far has been travelling. To name a few places; New York, Florence (obviously) and St Tropez. We wonder what kind of designs I'll come up with from my Spanish adventure!
4. MUMMY FLORENCE TURNS 70!
My gorgeous mother and key member of the Florence London team celebrates her 70th birthday this month. Still riding her (quite feisty!) horse daily aged 70, she is an inspiration to us all. My mother Sheri has been and continues to be a key part in the creation and growth the brand. We are all in awe of her every day and wish her a very happy milestone birthday.
