A Message From Our Founder In 2023
Dear Friends Of Florence,
Happy New Year! As we begin 2023, I thought I'd re-introduce myself to you all. I am Rosie Florence, the founder of Florence London. I live between London, Bucklebury and the Isle Of Wight with my husband, Olie, and one year old boy, Monty.
I started the Florence London in 2017 whilst living next to Battersea Park. Previously, I'd spent seven years in food and drink marketing, eight years in customer facing retail, and prior to that I'd spent most of my life training horses. It was my time spent with horses that taught me the value true grit and determination.
So, why the complete change in career? Because I simply adore jewellery. I love how jewellery reflects a persons character, their memories and the sentiment it carries, through to the clinking sound of bangles, layering chains and stacking up rings.
In 2016, I got to work designing my own jewellery. I thought about what I would most enjoy wearing and what I would most enjoy making for others. I learnt how to built a website, set up my social media, took thousands of photographs, wrote hundreds of pages of copy, tore it up and wrote it again, threw a launch party and told everyone about what I was trying to do; create the most interesting yet affordable personalised jewellery brand in the UK. From the moment the first sale came in, I have never looked back.
Fast forward to 2023, I am immensely proud to think about how many lives Florence London has touched. How may of my little ribbon-tied boxes have been present at birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and parties. I love my job, I love my brand but most of all, I love my customers.
This year, I will be releasing 20 new designs that I have been working on for the past 18 months. There will be modern classics, limited editions and seasonal pieces.
